PDFHQ is a web app for working with PDFs—merge, split, rotate, compress, convert, and e‑sign documents—right in your browser. No installs needed.

Yes. All transfers use HTTPS and we process files in isolated, ephemeral environments. Processed files are automatically deleted after a short retention window (typically under 2 hours), and you can delete them sooner from the results screen. Metadata is minimized and never used to train models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

No. Files are kept only long enough to complete processing and allow you to download the result, then they are automatically removed within the short retention window noted above.

We support current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Please enable JavaScript and disable aggressive tracking/proxy extensions that might block uploads or downloads. If something looks off, try a private window.

Limits can vary by tool and plan. Free accounts have lower limits than Premium/Teams. If you hit a limit, consider compressing first or upgrading for higher caps.

You can always upload from your device. Drive/Dropbox integrations are rolling out; in the meantime, download to your device and upload here.

E-sign workflows are rolling out. Contact us via Contact if you want early access for your team.

Subscriptions unlock higher limits and collaboration features. Owners can manage seats from Account → Subscription. You can add or remove seats at any time; changes prorate automatically.

Go toAccount → Billing to view and download invoices and update your payment method.

Make sure the file opens locally, remove passwords, and try Compress PDF first if it’s very large. If the issue persists, contact us via Contact and attach the file if it’s non‑confidential.
